This blog will document Steven and I's (grammar?) adventure this year (and beyond?). I thought I'd start writing it today as it is exactly one month until we leave. Any it is a lovely day because it is Valentines Day!
We spent quite a bit of time today packing up things from our house. It is one of those jobs that always takes a lot longer than you think it will. And we ran out of cardboard boxes fairly quickly. The house looks funny already with most of the knick-knacks gone and half the books off the shelves. I wonder if I will find any forgotten treasures during the pack.
Tomorrow we go to the travel doctor to probably get more vaccinations. (We had 3 injections last week on Wednesday - my arm still has a red mark and aches slightly on occasion - after being terribly saw for 4 days!) Hopefully though all these vaccines will help us avoid any nasty deceases while we are over seas.
